Dr. Cerić: I call on the BiH Presidency members to build a better tomorrow for all of us

On the occasion of the inauguration of the newly elected members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Mustafa Cerić, called on the elected officials to seriously dedicate themselves to the task of rebuilding the state, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- The newly elected members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina today took an oath to faithfully serve our state and all its peoples and citizens. I call on them to truly do so. I call on them, for the good of all and in the interest of the important role assigned to them, to dedicate themselves precisely to the tasks that will return our country to the right path, the path towards Euro-Atlantic integration, the path of progress and betterment for all - emphasized Dr. Cerić.

He called on the members of the BiH Presidency to refrain from narrow party interests, the struggle for positions in state institutions and companies, management boards, and various commissions, but rather to truly, with utmost seriousness and dedication, focus on forming executive bodies of government, so that Bosnia and Herzegovina can regain the status of a serious partner on the international stage as soon as possible, which would also restore the confidence of foreign investors to invest in our country.

Dr. Cerić once again appealed for the depoliticization of the state Presidency, i.e., "that the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina be freed from party obligations and prejudices, so that they can fully dedicate themselves to the affirmation of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world and its function for the benefit of all peoples and citizens.".

- Politicians must be conscientious and responsible, they must start returning morality to politics; they must have a sense of responsibility for so many hungry, unemployed, disenfranchised, and suffering citizens of our country - said Dr. Cerić, adding that the time for mutual recriminations, petty and major political, national, and all other provocations should have long been behind us.

- It is high time that the authorities of our country, the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, understand and overcome this, and that they become serious and, through joint efforts, through agreement and constructive dialogue, build a better tomorrow for all of us - emphasized Dr. Cerić.
