Dr. Cerić: Milorad Dodik's needs border on mental illness

Milorad Dodik seems to have a need to inflict emotional pain on people, and that need borders on mental illness - stated Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, referring to Dodik's latest statement.

While opening the event "Days of Srpska in Serbia", Dodik stated in Belgrade that he sees the smaller BiH entity less as an entity and more as a state united with Serbia. In the same vein, he announced that he will soon name some squares, streets, and institutions after Radovan Karadžić, Ratko Mladić, and other Serbian generals.

- It has long been clear to us that Dodik's statements cross the line of good taste, morality, and reason. He knows this too, because when he runs out of answers to concrete questions and problems, he resorts to well-known methods for collecting votes - emphasizes Dr. Cerić, adding that "Dodik's babbling should not disturb our people, as Dodik's rhetoric is empty and provocative, but it certainly has an end, and not even prison cells where they are currently located will be named after war criminals."

- Besides the cheap and overly worn-out formula of a desperate attempt to buy votes, Dr. Cerić believes, "Dodik, with his narrative, once again proves his own aspiration to be the first among Serbs - a vožd, but that is also something we should not break our heads over. Let Nikolić and Vučić deal with that. Our people have more important things to do - added Dr. Cerić.
