Dr. Cerić visited miners and offered condolences to the families of the victims

Dr. Mustafa Cerić, candidate for the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, visited and spoke with the injured miners in the Raspotočje mine of the Zenica Brown Coal Mine, writes the Patria news agency.

We remind you that five miners did not survive the mountain strike that occurred yesterday in the Raspotočje mine, while 29 miners were trapped 500 meters underground for a full 20 hours.

On the occasion of the serious accident in the Zenica Brown Coal Mine, in which five miners lost their lives, Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, offered his condolences to the families of the victims:

- I am deeply saddened and shaken by the news of the tragic death of five miners in the "Raspotočje" mine of the Zenica Brown Coal Mine. Their death is an irreplaceable loss for all of us, and especially for their families, to whom I express my sincere condolences. This accident is another reminder of the difficult life of miners, the conditions in which they work, but also of solidarity and care for each other in times of trouble. I hope that the sacrifice of the five miners will not be forgotten and that we will no longer witness such accidents. I pray to God to grant paradise to the deceased miners, patience to their families, and a warning to all of us - said Dr. Cerić.
