Dr. Cerić: We should learn about statehood from Bosnian kings

Unlike other candidates for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I started my campaign from Bobovac, from Mile and Jajce, from the sources of Bosnian statehood - stated Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the state Presidency, at today's rally in Mile near Visoko.

- I did not start it from a mosque, nor from a mevlud, because I respect the autonomy and honor of the Islamic Community. The Islamic Community, especially during elections, must not be used as a cash cow that gives milk, from which cream is made, which feeds politicians who do not perform their assigned tasks and do not meet their quotas, as miners must do to get their wages. I can give and help the Islamic Community, and in no way harm it and take from it - emphasized Dr. Cerić.

He added that all candidates for the state Presidency, and especially the Bosniak ones, should come to Mile near Visoko.

- I am aware that this is the first pre-election rally of a candidate in this place, which I am proud of, and I invite all candidates for the Presidency to visit Bobovac, to come to Mile, to go to Jajce and drink from the sources of Bosnian statehood - said Dr. Cerić.

He added that when he becomes a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he will return to Mile and take the oath to the state at the place where Bosnian kings were crowned, to swear to protect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and constitutional order of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He also emphasized that he will launch an initiative to declare October 26, the day of the coronation of King Tvrtko I Kotromanić, as the Day of Statehood, or the Day of the Kings of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
