Dr. Cerić: We will not entrust our fate to those without heart, soul, or reason!

The election campaign, although officially starting in just over two weeks, is already well underway. It is more than obvious that the media space is being abused and used for various political squabbles and backroom deals, mutual insinuations and accusations, announced today from the Public Relations Office of the independent candidate for the BiH Presidency member Dr. Mustafa Cerić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Such a situation, as they state, creates confusion and aversion among voters towards the democratic act of voting. Dr. Cerić therefore reiterates his appeal for a fair and honest election campaign, worthy of a modern democratic society:

- The state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Bosniak people are facing one of the greatest challenges so far. Political confusion causes internal divisions fueled by short-sightedness, personal interests and moral inconsistency. All of this produces fear of the unknown among the Bosniak people, and, in fact, fear artificially produces the blindness of some who, in the current chaos, see nothing but themselves and their petty interests – states Dr. Cerić.

Because of this, as he points out, he feels a duty to address Bosniaks, regardless of which political option they belong to, „to understand the historical moment in which our people find themselves and not to fall for the proven methods of intimidation, disqualification and criminalization of individuals and groups in their ranks, who dare to raise their voices against corruption, immorality, disorder, nepotism, personal interests... injustice“.

- Therefore, the current attacks, as well as those that will follow against all who want, can and know how to change the state of political chaos among Bosniaks, aim to prevent decisive Bosniak political consolidation and strong uplift as the only solution that could restore strength and self-confidence, honor and pride to the Bosniak people, and functionality and dignity to the state – says Dr. Cerić.

The attacks being announced these days, he states, aimed at breaking up and preventing the initiative of Bosniak political consolidation for the salvation of the state and the people, should only strengthen sincere patriots of our country on our path to raise our voices against the elimination of the Bosniak political factor.

- Politicians whom Bosniaks once trusted, and who then betrayed them, are again using the method of provoking the disqualification of those who stand in their way of disuniting, decapitating and disorienting the Bosniak people, and for this purpose they ruthlessly use the media and individuals who agree to be a tool of that dirty game – says Dr. Cerić.

Feeling moral responsibility and patriotic duty, Dr. Cerić stated, I call on Bosniaks to free themselves from fear, to believe in the freedom and rights guaranteed to them, and to do everything through their words and actions, through their organizations, party or non-party, so that Bosniaks gather around a common goal, which is to preserve the country and organize the state, together with all who love it and live in it.

- Those who have noticed or felt that we are on that path have become disturbed and want to prevent us from doing so. They forget that we Bosniaks love our faith and respect other faiths, and that frightening us with our own faith cannot distance us from our thousand-year-old Bosnian tradition based on tolerance and coexistence. I am convinced that their conspiracies and obstructions will not succeed this time, but that Bosniaks will recognize the historical moment in which they should clearly, decisively and freely say: „This is the line below which we must not go!“, and that is that the state must not be given to those who are not its hosts, to the irresponsible, and certainly not to those who have no feeling for it – says Dr. Cerić.

Also, it was stated in the announcement, the red line below which we cannot go is that Bosniaks continue to be divided among themselves and that they give away their destiny to those who have neither heart, nor soul, nor reason for them.

- I want to assure all Bosniaks that nothing can hinder us on this path, nothing can frighten or stop us, because this is the time when we Bosniaks have a choice – either honor or humiliation. Therefore, Bosniaks, the choice is ours – either upright or bent! And let everyone know that we bow only to the exalted God“ – said in the statement of Dr. Cerić, reports NAP.
