Dr. Cerić: Wisdom is Staying on the Right Path

All paths lead to one goal, but some are winding. Wisdom is staying on the right path, the path that leads us to the right goal, said Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, speaking at a public forum "We Know the Path", held last night at the National Theatre in Zenica, organized by the association "Karneol", reports the news agency Patria.

That path, emphasized Dr. Cerić, is marked by our centuries-old spiritual and cultural values, which are coexistence and tolerance, as well as zero tolerance for injustice, corruption, and negligence, because these are the wrong paths that some people think lead them to the right goal.

- Therefore, when we say we know the path, we want to say that truth, justice, honesty, work, order, and our struggle to preserve the country and organize the state are close to our hearts. Opposite to that path are lies, injustice, dishonesty, negligence, irresponsibility - emphasized Dr. Cerić, and added:

- If someone were to ask you what we need most of all, the answer would be simple – honest government, which means that those who hold power do not take what does not belong to them, as our people would say, they do not steal, but behave like hosts in their own home, in which everyone has their place, their honor and dignity, in a home where everyone feels happy and content. That house, which we call a state - emphasized Dr. Cerić.

Dr. Cerić also took this opportunity to remind of the injustice and violation of basic human rights of Bosniak returnees to Srebrenica, where Bosniak children are denied the right to the Bosnian language, emphasizing that it is high time to sanction those who persistently continue to violate human rights, but also to awaken those who should stand in defense of those rights.
