Dr. Cerić: Youth, destiny is in your hands

The International Youth Day is being celebrated worldwide today, in accordance with the United Nations Resolution from 1999.

- This day is precisely an opportunity to reflect on the position and problems of young people in today's society, but also on ways to help young people and how they can help themselves - believes Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On this occasion, Dr. Cerić also emphasizes the importance of democratic processes, as well as the upcoming elections, in which many young people will have the opportunity to vote for the first time.Young people should not miss this opportunity, but rather take their own destiny into their own hands, instead of expecting someone else to do it for them.

- Dear youth, be brave and take problems into your own hands. By leaving problems to someone else, you give up the right to a solution, and thus the right to your own freedom and sovereignty. With your energy and our experience, we can change the world, because the world is changed only by those who do not accept that it cannot be changed, before they even try. We want to, we can, we know... how to make our country a pleasant place to live, a happy place to socialize, a fertile ground for success. And remember: your success in being the best at what you do is the success of all of us and a pledge for a happier future for your children - says Dr. Cerić.
