Dr. Cerić: I am an independent candidate, but I thank everyone who supports me!

After the announcement of Dr. Mustafa Cerić's candidacy for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the upcoming general elections, numerous individuals, groups, organizations, and political parties have directly and publicly expressed support for the candidacy, it was announced from the Press Service of Dr. Cerić, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

- Given that Dr. Cerić is an independent candidate, and does not belong to any political party or option, we invite other political parties, entities, and individuals to support Dr. Cerić's candidacy and thus jointly change the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the benefit of all citizens - the statement said.

Dr. Mustafa Cerić, as announced, thanks everyone for their expressed views and support. The aforementioned support for Dr. Cerić's candidacy, expressed at the beginning of the election process, is also a confirmation of the democratic character of the political scene in BiH, "despite individual inflammatory and undemocratic statements and fiery pre-election remarks."

- We once again call on all political entities and individuals involved in the upcoming general elections to refrain from harsh and malicious qualifications and assessments, and for future elections to proceed in a fair and correct political contest where we will compete with our ideas and programs - said the statement from the Press Service of Dr. Cerić, reports NAP.
