Dr. Cerić: The choice is on the citizens, a statesman or a subject

The elections on October 12 are not ordinary elections. In them, we choose whether we will have sadaqa or nafaka. In them, we decide either Bosnia or nothing, either to be or not to be - said Dr. Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After Bobovac, Milo, Jajce and Bihać, Dr. Cerić continued his series of visits to historical sites of particular importance for our country and its peoples, with a pre-election rally held on Thursday next to the tower of Husein Kapetan Gradaščević in Gradačac.

 - Bosniaks must become aware of themselves and their strength and should not seek solutions from the Porte. They should look up to Husein Kapetan Gradaščević and show determination to preserve their independence, to preserve the pride and honor of their people“, said Dr. Cerić, referring to the current relations of the current Bosniak leaders with Turkey.

 - From here, from Gradačac, we want to send a message to the Porte, now in Ankara, not to divide the Bosniak people and not to choose who will be our first. Do not choose for us either the ulema, nor politicians, nor begs, nor agas. Do not stir up strife. We know who among Bosniaks is a statesman and who is not - emphasized Dr. Cerić.

 On this occasion as well, from a place of exceptional historical significance for Bosniaks, Dr. Cerić called on Bosniak political leaders, candidates for the Bosniak member of the state Presidency, as well as Bosniak dignitaries and intellectuals, to sit down together at the table and drink coffee.

 - I invite them, and you judge whether they will come and who will come. Just one such coffee would be worth more than a loan from the International Monetary Fund or aid from friendly countries - concluded Dr. Cerić.
