Dr. Cerić: Dodik's dominance has deflated, he helped Bosniaks get serious

Milorad Dodik is once again using his tried-and-tested tactic of attacking others to distract from problems in his own backyard, it was announced today from the Office for Public Relations of Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the BH news agency Patria (NAP).

According to them, in the absence of an answer as to why basic human rights of Bosniaks, Croats, and other non-Serbs are constantly violated in the smaller BiH entity, Milorad Dodik, for who knows what time, interprets religion in a way that spreads fear and prejudice against the faith of others.

- I don't know what and how much Milorad Dodik knows from his faith, but I know he knows nothing about Islam, except prejudice and hatred. Instead of talking about Islam, Milorad Dodik should rather deal with some other issues, such as how to move the Orthodox church from the private property of Nana Fata as soon as possible - stated Dr. Mustafa Cerić, an independent candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dr. Cerić emphasizes that Milorad Dodik should talk about the rule of law based on the Constitution and laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, not about which religion he likes or dislikes.

He also points out that Dodik should not determine who can and cannot be a judge, but should, as soon as possible, publicly renounce his statement that "a Muslim cannot be a judge." Until he does so, Milorad Dodik remains on the list of those who do not tolerate others and differences.

- The false whisperers, domestic and foreign, who assure him that Dr. Mustafa Cerić's story about "Political Islam" will help him in the elections, are advising Dodik incorrectly and leading him straight to political ruin - says Dr. Cerić, adding that Dodik's narrative about which Bosniaks are suitable and which are not for Serbian politics, definitely no longer works.

- That inflated dominance of Dodik has deflated, just like his policy, which contributed the most to Bosniaks getting serious and closing ranks in the upcoming elections. Bosniaks will not interfere in who will be the leader among Serbs and how. Let the Serbs resolve that among themselves. Dodik's ambition to impose himself as the sole and greatest Serbian leader, by violating the human rights of Bosniak children, discriminating against Bosniaks based on their faith, spreading fear among Serbs of Bosniak political action allegedly based on faith, and buying the favor of Serbs with language of hatred towards Bosniaks - is over. Therefore, I advise Dodik to change his rhetoric, to leave Bosniaks and their faith, as well as any other people, alone, and to get to work for which he is paid, which is to respect and defend the Constitution and laws of this country - said Dr. Cerić, and emphasized:

- It is time for all of us to turn to the life needs of people who fear unemployment and uncertainty for themselves and their children. We can do this if we understand and accept that every person has the right to life, faith, freedom, property, honor, and everything that makes life normal. All people with reason, heart, and at least a little sense understand this."
