Dr. Cerić: My goal is to preserve the country, organize the state, and restore dignity to Bosniaks

Bosnia and Herzegovina lives on a planet where conditions for human life are most ideal. And, my biggest puzzle is how it is that each of us 3.7 million, as many as we have in Bosnia and Herzegovina, cannot find their happiness, especially our youth – said Dr. Mustafa Cerić, the Bosniak candidate for member of the Presidency of BiH, in an interview for the Source.ba portal, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

He said that all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina can be happy, but the leaders of this country need to work hard and honestly, and work exclusively in the interest of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all peoples in this country, not just for their own interests or for the interests of one people or one entity.

Because of the possible progress he sees in BiH, Dr. Cerić said, he returned from Jordan where he worked at the local university, stood before his people, and offered all his skill and knowledge to pull the country out of the crisis.

- The possibilities of the Bosniak member of the Presidency are great, only if he wants to work. That is why I could no longer stand aside and watch our opportunities pass by – said Dr. Cerić, as reported by NAP.

- Look whether any significant people visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past period, whom our statesmen visited... Princes who stop by Croatia do not stop by BiH! We have brought ourselves to a position where they tell us from Belgrade that they mediate for investors and businessmen from the Emirates to come to us, for example. We have started getting used to immoral actions in society, that is becoming normal for us – he warned.

Dr. Cerić recalled that he has experience of being first among Bosniaks in a very complex organization such as the Islamic Community, which does not only cover the territory of BiH but extends to Serbia and Sandžak, Croatia and Slovenia, and that his experience can certainly be of use to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I think our state Bosnia and Herzegovina suffers from disorganization and a lack of stewardship. What I did in organizational terms for the Islamic Community, I now want to do for the state, for my Bosniak people, but also for all peoples living here. Because I love this country too much to watch it decline – emphasized Dr. Cerić.

He recalls that in the past period there were many who made promises to the citizens of BiH. Therefore, he says, he will not promise citizens anything except one thing, and that is that he will work day and night.

- I will put at disposal everything I know and can do to restore the honor and pride of the Bosniak people and to organize the state of BiH that will be respectable in international relations – added Dr. Cerić, as reported by NAP.
