Funds allocated for the payment of the sixth installment of veteran scholarships in Zenica-Doboj Canton

The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton has allocated funds to cities and municipalities for the payment of the sixth installment of scholarships from the Ministry of Veterans' Affairs for 1,520 students of the first and second study cycles in the academic year 2023/2024.

A total of 246,450 KM has been allocated, and local self-government units are obliged to pay the scholarships into the beneficiaries' accounts.

The Minister of Veterans' Affairs, Adnan Sirovica, stated that this ministry has allocated 1,971,600 KM for scholarships for veteran students and their family members in 2024, and all students who met the conditions of the public competition received scholarships.

The scholarship for first-year students amounts to 1,000 KM, and for students in higher years of study, it is 1,400 KM, paid in eight installments of 125 KM and 175 KM, respectively.

The largest number of scholarship beneficiaries are in Zenica 371 (60,025 KM), Visoko 213 (34,275 KM), Tešanj 159 (25,875 KM), Zavidovići 159 (25,475 KM), Žepče 151 (24,825 KM), Kakanj 121 (19,425 KM), Maglaj 97 (15,925 KM), Breza 77 (12,825 KM), Olovo 62 (10,000 KM), Vareš 44 (7,300 KM), Doboj Jug 37 (5,875 KM), and Usora 29 (4,625 KM).
