Resourceful Bosnians: "It's not about speed, push if needed"

The mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina are full of tourists and local visitors, especially on weekends, making it almost impossible to find parking, writes the Patria News Agency.

On weekends, police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton regulate traffic on Bjelašnica and Igman, and people park miles away from Babin Dol. However, the situation on Vlašić proves how resourceful BiH citizens can be. One driver parked his car near the facility where he was staying, but blocked other cars.

He wrote on the rear window of his car, "It's not about speed, push if needed." In this way, the driver ensured unobstructed passage for the cars that were parked, and he did not have to look for parking for a long time.

A similar situation is often visible near the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, especially during visiting hours when it is impossible to find parking at this institution. Thus, drivers increasingly resort to the tried-and-tested method and leave their vehicles in neutral.
