Đonlagić: Škaljić and I never took severance pay of 13,000 KM although we were entitled to it

State representative of SBB Mirsad Đonlagić reacted to the text published by the Patria News Agency.

In that text, he and his colleague Fehim Škaljić are mentioned in the context of taking severance pay, which is not in line with the principled policy of SBB to date, which in recent years has advocated for the abolition of the 'white bread' and all privileges enjoyed by representatives at all levels of government.

- By force of law, we had to retire after the expiration of our mandate as representatives in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We retired based on meeting the conditions of 40 years of service and 65 years of age. We did this before achieving the status of a professional representative in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In that sense, our last employer was the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

So it is clear that only the last employer, i.e., the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, can pay us severance pay, and in the amount of 13,000 KM. That is something we were entitled to by law, however, neither colleague Škaljić nor I took that severance pay, says Đonlagić.
