(Patria) - The Bosniak Caucus will attend the emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly scheduled for Thursday, October 10. At today's continuation of the 14th session, which was interrupted in March due to an attack on the BiH Constitutional Court, specifically the proposed amendments to the Law on the Constitutional Court, five delegates from three out of four political parties did not show up.
Dženan Đonlagić, a delegate from DF, told Patria that he will attend the emergency session on Thursday.
"As long as Dragan Čović keeps the proposed Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH, which undermines this institution, on the agenda again, I do not wish to participate in it. They want to turn the Constitutional Court into some new 'House of Peoples', introduce entity voting, ethnic selection of judges. Even the Venice Commission has given an opinion that it cannot be done that way. As far as I'm concerned, gambling with the Constitutional Court and the state is out of the question," Đonlagić told Patria.
The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Dragan Čović, said that the materials related to the Berlin Process and certain ratification agreements that need to be adopted will be on the agenda of the emergency session.
