Decision adopted on the Strategy for Strengthening the Milk, Vegetable and Fruit Sector in the FBiH

The FBiH Government adopted today a Decision on the adoption of the Strategy for Increasing Competitiveness and Attracting Investments in the Value Chains of Milk and Dairy Products, Fruits and Vegetables in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2014-2020, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The result of the implementation of this strategy should be the identification and simplification of administrative procedures in these agricultural sectors, which are related to import and export activities, as well as general business conditions. The strategy, among other things, provides recommendations for amendments to legal acts with the aim of more efficient targeting of incentives, subsidies and guarantees in line with best practices.

Furthermore, the establishment of a Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the Strategy was proposed, as well as the inclusion of all stakeholders in increasing competitiveness and attracting investments in these sectors.
