House of Peoples of PS BiH to convene on December 28: Appointments, agreements, ratifications on the agenda, but not laws

(Patria) - The session of the House of Peoples of PS BiH is scheduled for December 28. The agenda does not include the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorist Activities, which was adopted by the House of Representatives of PS BiH on Thursday evening under an urgent procedure. The House of Peoples of PS BiH should adopt it in the identical form for it to enter into force.

The agenda also includes the report on the implementation of laws within the competence of the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022, as well as the Report on the implementation of the 2022 General Elections.

The House of Peoples should also declare itself on the election of three members of the Management Board of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance and one member to take office instead of the dismissed member of the Management Board. Nenad Ponorac, Dženita Ljuca, Ivo Čolak, and Vedad Smailagić have been proposed for the Management Board.

The agenda also includes approvals for the ratification of agreements between BiH and creditors for various infrastructure projects, as well as projects in the fields of health, energy, transport and railway infrastructure, and air quality improvement.
