(Patria) - The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikola Špirić, has convened the 9th session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Wednesday, September 6, 2023, starting at 11 AM.
On the agenda is the Bill on Amendments to the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, B.I.L.A. (second reading), proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, number: 02-02-1-1424/23 dated August 1, 2023.
Otherwise, the House of Peoples adopted this law in the first reading at its session on August 30. Some delegates abstained and announced they would submit amendments.
Delegate Šefik Džaferović stated that an illusion was created that something was being done, to deceive the public.
"Let's not mislead the citizens, let's tell the truth. I will submit amendments and I hope they will be adopted, so that in the second reading we will all agree on this law," said Džaferović.
