House of Peoples adopted amendments by the Croat Club: Can the Federation of BiH withstand the new pension calculation?

Delegates of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH today adopted by a majority vote two amendments to the Draft Law on PIO, submitted by the Croat Club.

By one of these amendments, the point value for calculating the pension amount is increased from 13.6 to 14.3 KM. By the other amendment, the application of this law is postponed for six months. The Bosniak Club opposed these amendments. Earlier, it was warned that the budget of the Federation of BiH can hardly withstand even a coefficient of 13.6 KM, and certainly cannot withstand an additionally increased coefficient.

If the delegates of the House of Peoples of the PFBiH today approve by a majority vote the complete Draft Law on PIO, the Law will have to be voted on again in the House of Representatives, due to the subsequently adopted amendments in the House of Peoples, which will require additional time, writes Patria.
