House of Peoples on the dismissal of Špirić, Košarac and Amidžić, will SNSD members block the quorum

(Patria) - The 13th emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament has been scheduled for today in Sarajevo, starting at 11:00 AM. There are only two items on the agenda.

The session was initiated by delegates Džemal Smajić (SBiH), Safet Softić (SDA), Nenad Vuković (PDP), Zlatko Miletić, Šefik Džaferović (SDA), Želimir Nešković (SDS), Kemal Ademović (NiP) and Dženan Đonlagić (DF).

They submitted the request to the Chairperson Nikola Špirić on April 24th, but he only scheduled the session for today, thus violating the Rules of Procedure as he was obliged to do so within three days.

The first item on the agenda is the Proposal of the Decision on the dismissal of the Chairperson/First Deputy Chairperson/Second Deputy Chairperson of the House of Peoples, Nikola Špirić.

The second item concerns the Proposal of the Decision on the dismissal of the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Srđan Amidžić.

Both of these initiatives were proposed by delegates Nenad Vuković, Želimir Nešković, Ilija Cvitanović (HDZ 1990), Zlatko Miletić, and Kemal Ademović.

SNSD announced that they will attend the session, but did not specify whether they will leave, as they have done before, thus blocking the quorum and preventing the dismissal of their cadres.

These items were supposed to be on the agenda of previous sessions of the House of Peoples, but they would regularly be blocked.

At the emergency session on April 2nd, delegates from SNSD left the assembly before these items were reached, thus breaking the quorum.

A similar scenario occurred on April 24th, when the dismissal proposals were the last items on the agenda, but they did not reach the discussion stage.
