House of Peoples of FBiH adopted the Resolution on BHRT

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Delegates of the House of Peoples of FBiH adopted on Thursday the Resolution on the public interest of the Public Radio-Television Service of BiH - BHRT, which was also adopted by the House of Representatives of FBiH at its previous session.

The aforementioned Resolution instructs the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, through guidelines for work and conduct, and in relation to the issues of this Resolution, to enable the uninterrupted operation and access to the transaction accounts of the Radio-Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it is of public interest for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, until the final resolution of the dispute with the Radio-Television of Republika Srpska, which collects the fee in Republika Srpska and the Brčko District of BiH and has not paid the fee to BHRT in accordance with the law since 2017, and until the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina ensures the consistent application of the Law on the Public Radio-Television Service BHRT.

The Council of Ministers of BiH and the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH are requested to ensure the consistent application of the Law on the Public Radio-Television Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina BHRT, as well as the OHR and the international community to fulfill their obligations from the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the part relating to the content of this Resolution, and to ensure support programs for the development of the public Radio-Television Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina - BHRT.
