House of Peoples of FBiH: Bill on Crafts and Related Activities Rejected

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The draft law on electronic signatures received the support of the delegates of the House of Peoples, and the period for public debate on this law will be determined later. 

The draft law amending and supplementing the Law on Business Companies also received the support of the delegates. 

Jasmina Pašić from the relevant ministry stated that the amendments and supplements cover only six chapters, that it is a law from the reform agenda, and that the provisions of the law are being changed to shorten the procedure and enable electronic applications. 

After a somewhat more extensive discussion, the Draft Law on Support for Families with Children in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also received support. 

During the vote, it was stated that in the coming period, this legal solution should be integrated with a similar draft law proposed by Aljoša Čampara. 

The Government is tasked with conducting a public debate lasting 90 days. 

During the discussion, delegates stated that mothers who are employed should be separated from those in the category of social cases, and that the exercise of the right to child allowance should be regulated differently. 

The Draft Law on the Representativeness of Trade Unions and Employers' Associations also received support, with the conclusion that this legal solution should be sent to the cantonal assemblies for a statement, for which a deadline of 60 days has been set. 

After the amendment proposed by Aner Žuljević (SDP) to the Bill on Crafts and Related Activities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was adopted, allowing craftsmen to retain their craft certificates (certificates of family craft history), a break was called at the request of the Bosniak Club. 

Then, a vote was held on this proposal, but it did not receive support in either electronic or individual voting.
