(Patria) – The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina should today consider the Draft Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH and amendments to the Law on the Court of BiH, the adoption of which is one of the conditions for opening negotiations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union.
On the agenda are also amendments to the Law on Salaries and Allowances in BiH institutions, which provide for retroactive payment of salary differences in case of budget delays, while preventing automatic salary increases for officials.
Delegates will also consider proposals to increase benefits for soldiers, non-commissioned officers and police officers at the state level, as well as the introduction of a 25 percent supplement for employees of the NCB Interpol Sarajevo and the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertise.
Amendments to the Law on the Basics of Traffic Safety are also planned, which would allow taxi vehicles to make short stops at public transport stops for passenger boarding and alighting.
The session will also consider reports, delegate initiatives and several international agreements.
