
(Patria) - Bomb threats regarding explosive devices planted in several schools in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton have so far proven to be false in the inspected facilities, media were told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of HNK.
On Monday morning, several primary and secondary schools in the HNK area received bomb threats via email. Classes were interrupted, police officers were dispatched to the scene, and security procedures were initiated. The threats were received at 7:15 AM at Vladimir Pavlović Secondary School in Čapljina and at the Polytechnic Secondary School in Mostar, and subsequently at several other primary and secondary institutions in the areas of Mostar, Konjic, Jablanica, Stolac, and Neum.
According to information from the HNK Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers have inspected some of the schools where bombs were falsely reported, and they will inspect the remaining ones later today.
