Bomb threat at SDP's Statehood Day celebration in Banja Luka was false

(Patria) - The report of a bomb planted at the "Marriott" Hotel in Banja Luka, where the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of BiH was celebrating BiH Statehood Day tonight, was false.

This was determined by a counter-sabotage inspection carried out by the Banja Luka police, after they evacuated the hotel, which the attendees of the formal ceremony refused to leave.

(Patria) - At the BiH Statehood Day celebration organized by the SDP at the "Marriott" Hotel in Banja Luka, a bomb threat was reported.

The bomb threat was reported to the Banja Luka Police Administration by an unknown person via phone this afternoon.

The event was interrupted after the address by the president of SDP BiH and Prime Minister of the FBiH, Nermin Nikšić.

SDP Vice-President Vojin Mijatović claimed that "Milorad Dodik is behind the incident," adding that the party will continue to celebrate BiH Statehood Day in Banja Luka.

Incidentally, SDP BiH has been celebrating Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood Day in Banja Luka for the fourth year.
