HERCEGOVINA-NERETVA CANTON GOVERNMENT AGREED: HDZ, SDA, and SDP Distributed Ministries, as well as Other Positions

(Patria) - Negotiations for the formation of the government in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton are nearing completion. The coalition in this canton will consist of HDZ, SDP, and SDA, supported by NES, it was confirmed for Faktor.

The composition of the new government has been agreed upon. The government will consist of six ministers and a prime minister from HDZ, four from SDA, and SDP will receive two ministries.

SDA will get the Ministry of Construction and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Education. SDP will receive the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Environmental Protection.

HDZ will retain the ministries they have held so far. These are the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs, and the Ministry of Health.

Furthermore, SDA has secured the position of the Speaker of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Assembly, while HDZ and SDP will get the positions of deputy speakers.

Faktor's sources indicate that the future coalition still needs to agree on other technical issues, as well as positions in certain agencies and institutes...

Let us recall, in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Assembly, HDZ has 11 representatives, SDA has seven, HDZ 1990 and SDP have three each, HRS and DF have two each, and NES and People and Justice have one each.
