FLATTERING THE MINISTER Galić and Radončić 'magically' stopping migrants

Zoran Galić has finally admitted publicly – the Border Police are not capable of facing the migrant crisis and those responsible for thousands of illegal entries into BiH are those who are in charge of protecting BiH and its sovereignty by strengthening the border.

He is the head of that agency, so this admission of his should have been a ticket for Galić to leave his position as director. Either by resignation or dismissal. That's how it should be in normal countries. You never ask what the state gives you, but what you can offer it.

And, in today's issue of Dnevni avaz, Galić tried to flatter the new Minister of Security, Fahrudin Radončić, claiming that he now understands the problems that, apparently, no one understood before him! In a very short period, Galić assessed that Radončić is more professional and more concrete in solving problems than all previous ministers!?

Galić doesn't see that we all know what's happening. In the end, it is precisely Vjekoslav Bevanda, an HDZ cadre, who holds the key.

Galić is also close to the HDZ, so it is unclear why financial resources for new employment have not been found so far, as there is a shortage of staff in the Border Police. Apparently, there was no interest, even though BiH has serious problems with migrants.

The former Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić, also constantly repeated that it is necessary to strengthen the Border Police, so now I don't see how Mektić didn't understand what was needed, while Radončić does. Or has Galić only just seen the light.

The strengthening of the eastern border was never fully implemented, and the western neighbors skillfully returned migrants to our country. During that time, Galić did not want to offend Croatia, so police officers who dared to tell the truth went through hell.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office has never commented on the incident reported by the BiH Border Police on August 7 regarding the illegal transfer of migrants from Croatia to BiH in Velika Kladuša and claims that Croatian border police officers entered BiH territory.

Instead of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, information that does not correspond to the actual events is being disseminated from the BiH Border Police, and the role of Croatian border guards is being minimized.

Namely, the director of the BiH Border Police, Zoran Galić, sent information to the BiH Ministry of Security about the "transfer of foreign nationals from the Republic of Croatia to Bosnia and Herzegovina," in which he informed Minister Dragan Mektić that there was no illegal crossing of the state border by members of the MUP RH into the area of Velika Kladuša. And everyone knows, especially the police officers, that it happened.

Perhaps Mektić didn't see with Galić's eyes!?

In any case, it seems that the migrants, eight thousand of them from the eastern border, have also heard that Galić has become serious, that Radončić is now here, so they won't even try to enter BiH in the spring, in order to reach one of the EU countries.

Galić skillfully absolves himself, and already possible problems are being shifted again to the state, finances... But, he never concretely says what he has done. Meanwhile, almost the entire control over the eastern border has been taken over by the Gendarmerie of the MUP RS.

His pleas that the migrant crisis cannot be resolved without state assistance are only an indicator of Galić's failure as the leading person of that police agency.

The accumulated problems within the BP, which Galić has been managing for the second term, have only escalated in the migrant crisis.

Border police officers deployed in the border area have repeatedly warned, unsuccessfully, about the problems and the ignorant attitude of the BP leadership towards their appeals that the migrant crisis is becoming more complicated.

Instead of Galić, who, as the first person in the chain of command, should bear responsibility, the state will suffer the greatest damage, as the EU is already viewing it through the prism of inhumane migrant reception.
