Certificate Award Ceremony for Faculty of Political Science Students Completing Internship in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) ceremoniously awarded certificates to 15 students of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo, who successfully completed their student internship. These students gained practical experience working in the Parliament from March 15 to June 15 this year, through three cycles of four weeks each.

During the internship, students worked 20 hours per week, i.e., 80 hours per month, equivalent to 3 ECTS credits. These credits will be recorded in the diploma supplement of each student. The internship program was implemented with the coordination and support of the leaders and mentors from the House of Representatives, with the aim of practical verification of acquired theoretical knowledge. This internship represents one of the key elements of cooperation defined by the Memorandum of Understanding between the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo.

The student internship was attended by students from the Department of Political Science, specialization in State Governance and International Relations and Diplomacy, and the Department of Security and Peace Studies. Among the students who received certificates are: Adna Osmanagić, Harun Ćatić, David Mijatović, Elvedin Omerović, Karlo Bilela, Ana Elena Banduka, Ajla Karahmet, Amela Hasanbegović, Naida Tanović, Bulant Salkić, Faris Aganović, Dino Omeragić, Emir Paljanin, Haris Mujanović, and Nermin Kerić.

The certificate award ceremony was attended on behalf of the Faculty of Political Sciences by Prof. Dr. Elvis Fejzić, Vice Dean for Teaching, Prof. Dr. Ehlimana Spahić, Head of the Department of Political Science, and Prof. Dr. Mirza Smajić, Head of the Department of Security and Peace Studies. Representatives of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were project leader Almedina Bulić and mentors Biljana Andrić and Adela Kulaš.

This student internship program will continue in mid-October this year, after students complete their enrollment in the new academic year.
