CIK's fines are hard on Dodik: We paid over 100,000 KM for premature campaign

(Patria) - The SNSD Main Board session will be held tomorrow in Doboj, starting at 1 PM, where we will set certain goals that we will promote in the election campaign, said SNSD President Milorad Dodik today at a press conference.

- At the local level, we do not have a single polarized environment; starting Friday, we will begin posting the first posters in Banja Luka, and I will post mine in Zvornik.

We are entering the elections with 1,800 candidates; we are running in all municipalities in the RS and ten in the Federation of BiH. We have set realistic goals for the elections - Dodik believes.

He assesses that a big problem in the previous period, not only for SNSD but for all parties, was that they did not concretely know what constituted a premature campaign, and that the BiH Central Election Commission's fines were draconian.

- We have to be careful about everything we say; we don't know exactly what we can and cannot say. I think it is completely unfair that we, and I must say other parties as well, have paid hefty fines for minimal statements, according to the BiH CIK.

It is quite difficult for our party; we have paid over 100,000 KM in fines for something we were not even aware was a campaign - Dodik said with disappointment.
