Dodik's messages: BiH can join the EU, but only by my rules

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik spoke today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of France to BiH Kler Bodoni ( Claire Bodonyi), reports the Patria News Agency. 

Dodik informed the French Ambassador about the activities being carried out in Republika Srpska, concerning the preparation and adoption of a set of reform laws, which will be a practical response to the EU's suggestions that arrived in BiH, through the latest EU initiative.

He reiterated that he supports the latest EU initiative for faster progress of BiH in European integration. He informed the French Ambassador that he had also conveyed his position on this matter to the Foreign Ministers of Germany and Great Britain, who understood the efforts to include respect for the BiH Constitution, the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the organization of BiH in the Declaration that should be signed by BiH leaders.

Dodik warned of the fact that certain politicians in BiH are trying to misuse this initiative as well for the sake of achieving their party goals. The President of Republika Srpska and the French Ambassador also touched upon the recent terrorist attacks in France, emphasizing that French society and the state, despite the great challenges they faced, responded adequately, demonstrating the stability and democratic nature of French society and the state, it was announced from Dodik's cabinet.
