Dodik's statements are like burning the flag, he must be prosecuted!

Milorad Dodik, president of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, must be criminally prosecuted for insulting state symbols and hate speech, announced today from the Press Service of Mustafa Cerić, independent candidate for the BiH Presidency member, regarding the latest statements by the leader of the smaller entity, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Namely, Dodik stated in an interview with Belgrade media, as reported by agencies, that BiH is an „impossible and tragicomic state“, which is why his „most important task is the independence of the RS“.

He said that BiH is an „incorrigible and unsustainable country, a failed project of the international community, in which foreigners imposed the Constitution, anthem and flag that flutters like a rag in the wind".

- Insulting national and state symbols, in the way Dodik does, is akin to burning state flags in some BiH cities and must be subject to the work of the state prosecutor's office. Saying that the BiH flag is like a „rag“ is beyond any political standard of communication and means an insult to the state and its citizens – states the reaction of the Press Service of Dr. Cerić.

And, regarding Dodik's claims that BiH is an „impossible and tragicomic state“, Dr. Cerić states, they are partially true, especially since only in such a state can persons like Dodik hold important functions.

- The state of Bosnia and Herzegovina will outlive Dodik and his dreams of independence. His views are based on ideas carried by the aggressors against the state and they are known to the citizens and the international community. We extend an invitation to everyone, including Dodik, if he is ready, to jointly improve the state and its institutions. And to those who do not want that, but claim that Bosnia and Herzegovina is too tight for them, we say that the country is wide, but they will not be able to take with them even a clod of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is soaked with the blood of its defenders – stated in the announcement of Dr. Cerić, as reported by the Patria agency.

Dodik, as announced, must understand that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a sanctity that no one may touch, insult or belittle.
