Dodik's Alliance with Čović is the Biggest Problem in BiH

Guests of the show Pošteno on FTV were the presidents of the Social Democratic Party of BiH and the Democratic Front, Nermin Nikšić and Željko Komšić, who once again confirmed the idea of uniting the left and creating a common platform and goals of action, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Željko Komšić explained that it is about the "unification of the left, not parties".

- It is too early to talk about the unification of DF and SDP because it requires things to settle within the parties and for people to want it - said Komšić.

Nermin Nikšić emphasized that these two parties will provide a joint candidate for mayors in the local elections next year, and each party will have its own list.  

Speaking about the work of the FBiH Government, both agreed that there has been a complete division of companies into SDA and HDZ ones, and what is even worse, an ethnic division has been made within them.

Komšić also explained that in the first round of negotiations with Bakir Izetbegović, he said that Nikšić's government had introduced multinational leadership in all companies and that this principle should be maintained.

- Bakir agreed with my proposal, but two weeks later, when the first disagreements in the negotiations arose, things started to be done differently. Bakir kept saying, Dragan is asking for this, Dragan is asking for that. And it's okay that he asks, but did everything have to be fulfilled - Komšić pointed out.

Nikšić said that everything negative is highlighted and blamed on the SDP, but he also stated that when it comes to the company Aluminij and the 300,000 KM debt that the then government inherited, it was caused by people whom SDA and HDZ BiH are now returning to positions.

- Unfortunately, the media cannot report on the current problems such as the division of the Ministry of Veterans into Army of RBiH and HVO, and the controversial laws being adopted - said Nikšić.

Answering the question of whether DF will remain in the Council of Ministers after the new coalition of SDA and HDZ BiH with SBB was established, Komšić said:

- It may sound strange, but I believe it is more important for the Alliance for Change to remain in the Council of Ministers, because this prevents Milorad Dodik from entering power - Komšić stated.

When asked if Dodik is the only problem in this country, Komšić said that there are others, but that Dodik is one of the biggest.

- Dodik is one of the biggest problems and his alliance with Dragan Čović in the personification of political ideas - said Komšić.
