Dodik, with Kebo's help, blocks formation of government in BiH

SNSD, together with Mirsad Kebo, is trying to stop the formation of government in BiH, warned Šefik Džaferović in an interview for the BiH news agency Patria (NAP), after Staša Košarac from SNSD announced that this party will initiate a motion to dismiss Džaferović from the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.

The Vice-President of the Federation of BiH, Mirsad Kebo, accused Džaferović a few weeks ago that, as the then head of the Security Services Center in Zenica, he did not prevent alleged crimes against Serbs that occurred during the last Serbian aggression against BiH from 1992 to 1995, after which SNSD announced that it would initiate Džaferović's dismissal from the BiH Parliament.

In mid-December 2014, Kebo submitted documentation to Goran Salihović, Chief Prosecutor of BiH, in which he claims that the newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Šefik Džaferović, and retired Army of BiH general Sakib Mahmuljin were ten meters away from the liquidation site of a Serb civilian in the village of Vozuća near Zavidovići, but that they did nothing to prevent the crime from happening, nor to prosecute the perpetrator afterwards.

Kebo stated that the disputed event occurred on April 18, 1994, when Džaferović and Mahmuljin allegedly visited Vozuća.

However, Kebo's claims are tarnished by the fact that members of the Army of RBiH liberated Vozuća from the army of Republika Srpska only a year and a half after the date Kebo claims the murder occurred, which indicates that the data provided by the Vice-President of the FBiH is falsified.

Džaferović warns that it is quite clear that this is a vile lie and a monstrous fabrication by Mirsad Kebo, who, together with SNSD, is trying to hinder the formation of government in BiH. He called on the BiH Prosecutor's Office to immediately clarify this case.

- If criminal proceedings are initiated against me, I will withdraw from the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives myself, without waiting for the outcome of the proceedings – Džaferović told NAP.

- However, if things go in another direction, and they will, because this is a lie and a fabrication, then I demand that criminal proceedings be initiated against Kebo for the criminal offense of false reporting.

It seems that SNSD and Kebo are cooperating, Džaferović warned. They, he said, have the same goals, and one of the goals of the campaign being waged against him, among other things, is to hinder the establishment of government at the BiH level. Džaferović is convinced that Kebo's and SNSD's goals will be recognized and that this party's proposal for his dismissal will not receive the necessary majority at the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, writes Patria.
