Dodik in Belgrade: Accused Bosniaks of wanting war, Vučić will convey his message to Putin

(Patria) - A meeting between President Aleksandar Vučić and RS President Milorad Dodik was held in Belgrade following the decisions of the RS National Assembly and the law prohibiting the work of four state institutions in the territory of RS - SIPA, the Court, the Prosecutor's Office, and the HJPC.

Dodik stated that he received a summons to appear at the BiH Prosecutor's Office on Friday, and then received a new summons for Monday.

“The undeniable support we provide to President Vučić is proof of our cooperation. Things in Serbia need to be stabilized, as enormous damage has been done by irresponsible people. I came to the President to tell him that it is clear to us that Bosniaks in Sarajevo want a war conflict. They are ignoring our calls for dialogue. On my way here, I received a summons from the Prosecutor's Office to appear tomorrow in Sarajevo at 11 AM on suspicion of attacking the constitutional order,” said Dodik.

He added that the Prime Minister and the President of the RS National Assembly also received the summons.

“We have decided not to respond. We call for dialogue. We call on Bosniaks in RS to be peaceful and stable. War is not an option for us. Helez, Isak, and others are invoking it, understanding that it is their task, shamelessly attacking Serbia, the President. If anyone has the right to be involved in any way in BiH, it is Serbia, which is the guarantor of Dayton. Sarajevo is not a party to Dayton,” said Dodik, adding that RS will use all political and other means to defend itself.

Dodik stated that EUFOR's task is to act in case of conflict and asked them to prevent “movements from the Federation of BiH towards RS”.

“We have no problem with EUFOR moving around Republika Srpska, nor with their mandate. Our people should not make a fuss about it. The situation is a bit politically tense, so some people think it's something special. No, these are regular activities,” said Dodik.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić continued.

“If you see someone preparing for war, you cannot help but be concerned. Last time I called for dialogue in Banja Luka, and we received salvos of pathological insults in response,” said Vučić.

“Unfortunately, in this time of global turmoil, it is clear that Europe will try to distance itself from the USA. In Sarajevo, they are trying to use Europe to destroy and abolish RS,” said Vučić.

He added that this is one of the reasons for the color revolution in Serbia, “so that it would not be in a position to help its brothers across the Drina”.

He said he wants peace.

“I see they are celebrating tractors, expelling 'đikani', 'četniks'. That speaks volumes about them. Tomorrow I will talk to Putin. I will convey Dodik's message, that is my task,” said Vučić.

He added that nowhere in the world are the president of an entity, the prime minister, and the speaker of parliament arrested, and that Serbia will arm itself like Europe.

Responding to journalists' questions, Vučić said he advised Dodik to be very cautious and not to rely solely on legal norms.

“This year marks 30 years since Dayton, Operation Storm, Srebrenica. Imagine everything we have to go through,” said Vučić.
