Dodik claims some RS decisions will be eye-opening for Sarajevo

(Patria) - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said that the story about the Srebrenica resolution is taking on dramatic proportions and that RS does not want escalation and violence, but that its political decisions will be very eye-opening for Bosniaks in Sarajevo.

- Bosniaks in Sarajevo are trying to minimize it by saying that the people are not mentioned, and all they have done is precisely to indirectly and directly morally disqualify the Serb people - Dodik said after a meeting of the leaderships of Serbia, Srpska, and representatives of Serbs from the region in Belgrade.

He said that they want to morally disqualify the Serb people to the extent that they will certainly try to include it in school curricula in the next few years and elevate it to a completely different level than it is now hidden.

- You will see that immediately after the adoption of the resolution, they will try to establish it through numerous manifestations, to say that it is so - Dodik stated.

He emphasized that the resolution is a suddenly imposed topic that will poison relations between Serbs and Bosniaks in BiH to such an extent that it will be almost impossible to build any common policies, or any common way.

- After this statement of mine, they will again say that I am advocating that this cannot be done. I am not advocating for it, but you are trying with the resolution to label my people as very bad, as being on the shameful side of history. I do not want that and I do not think it is true, I cannot accept it - he said, adding that he will not cooperate with those who label the Serb people or will only cooperate as much as it is in the interest of the Serb people in RS.

Dodik said that the all-Serbian assembly, which will be held on June 8, was also discussed at the meeting.

According to him, it is important that it will also be at the level of academies of sciences, special sessions will be held, as well as special sessions of associations, cultural and artistic societies.
