Dodik: The "Trojka" has softened a bit due to their local needs, but in essence, they said everything we agreed upon

(Patria) - My impression is that the meeting produced the will and atmosphere to finish it in February, and I think that when you observe a little more closely, the partners from FBiH, due to some of their local needs, have somewhat softened, but in essence, they said everything the same, there was nothing different from what we agreed upon regarding all of that, said SNSD President Milorad Dodik on Sunday, speaking about the meeting held on Thursday in Bakinci with the presidents of the "Trojka" and HDZ BiH.

He emphasized that the key issue is the Election Law, and that the issue of the seat of the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH remained unfinished.

"We insist that the Appellate Division be in Banja Luka, they are still not ready to accept that. We discussed the Constitutional Court and it was said that the distribution of two Serbs, two Croats, and two Bosniaks, who would be elected in FBiH, and three substitutes for foreign judges or as the Parliament decides, that is a valid qualification, but they are elected by the BiH Parliament and in which everyone has some decisive role. It will not be foreign will, but the will of BiH bodies. So, we agreed to draft that, so as not to burden this European path, to be finalized by the end of April", emphasized Dodik.

He added that what was agreed upon is an all-or-nothing package.

"You cannot take what you want. There are things there that I am also dissatisfied with, but we tried to make a compromise, which is always difficult among different political options", said Dodik.
