Dodik: SNSD and HDZ will determine in 2018 who will be our Bosniak partner in government

President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik stated for ATV that SNSD will have candidates for the president of the BiH entity Republika Srpska and a member of the BiH Presidency in the 2018 elections.

Dodik noted that SNSD has its own stance on this issue, but that they will discuss it with coalition partner DNS, and emphasized that various options are possible.

He pointed out that after two terms, he can no longer run for president of Republika Srpska, but stressed that he will continue to engage in politics and lead the party.

- I can run for a member of the BiH Presidency or be the bearer of one of the lists, I will see what I will do - Dodik said for ATV, as reported by the Patria agency.

He said that the Serb, who after the next General Elections is entitled to the position of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, must, as he put it, "return the Council of Ministers to the position of an auxiliary body of the BiH Presidency."

- If we do not succeed in this term, in 2018 those who want to turn the Council of Ministers into a government will do so - Dodik said.

Dodik said that SNSD and HDZ will determine from 2018 who will be their Bosniak partner in government, about which, as he says, he spoke with the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović, as reported by NAP.
