Dodik attacks Krišto for submitting uncoordinated Reform Agenda to Brussels, calls Konaković incompetent

(Patria) - Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto will hold a working lunch with leaders of Western Balkan countries on Thursday, September 19, 2024, in Brussels, hosted by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Today, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed that a document on the coordination of the Reform Agenda related to the Growth Plan has been sent to the European Commission.

„In order to continue activities and participation in the Growth Plan process for the Western Balkans, I informed the European Commission today and sent a document on our current level of coordination regarding the Growth Plan. I informed the European Commission about the level of coordination of the Reform Agenda, with an emphasis on the disputed part, which is already largely known to the public. The working team continues its work and coordination, with daily consultations with the European Commission," Krišto stated.

Commentary also came today from the President of SNSD and Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, following the trial at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He attacked Krišto because he was unaware that the document had been sent to Brussels.

"She has started behaving like an unguided missile; she is not the one who can do that. With this, she is trying to destroy the coordination mechanism, regardless of the fact that we previously gave some consent, which some cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina disputed. We must persist with documents that are coordinated with the coordination mechanism. If it is not coordinated, then it is not submitted. And Borjana Krišto is not someone who can do that. Regardless of her delusion that she can do something in this regard. I don't even know what she submitted, but it is obvious that she has set herself some missionary role, that she is the one who can interpret or not interpret something.

The Croatian people should be interested in the coordination mechanism, and that it harms the Croatian people more than the Bosniak one. If a Croatian cadre destroys it, then they destroy that mechanism, which will come back to haunt the Croatian people," Dodik said.

When asked whether a meeting at the state level would take place, given that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina said there was no need and that Dodik was different after returning from Russia, the SNSD president did not hold back:

"That thinker (E. Konaković, ed.) says there is no need. I will not comment on anything until the election campaign is over. But I will say that Konaković has shown his incompetence, and he is a fraud on the Bosniak people," Dodik said.
