Dodik will not stop with dates from the East and a walk in Doboj

The populist farces of Bosniak politicians are sad, who, apart from their own promotion, do little to concretely help defend BiH's interests. Šemsudin Mehmedović from SDA has collected many likes on social networks because he "bravely" went to Doboj, even though Dodik told him he would be arrested.

The president of his party announced the same day that Islamic countries would be "mobilized" to defend BiH's interests. Izetbegović thereby (un)necessarily thanked the opposition in the RS, which immediately raised a fuss because they suspect that a grave is being dug for them on purpose by mentioning them in the same text as the Islamic world. 

(Un)consciously and (un)intentionally, Bosniak politicians continue the practice of passing the ball to Milorad Dodik's volley, which has largely brought BiH to its most difficult post-war situation. BiH is on the verge of collapse, and the political elites are again irrationally creating the impression among Bosniaks that they would be stronger than the enemy in a potential conflict. 

At a time of complete political defensiveness, instead of strengthening the interest of Great Britain, Germany, and the USA in BiH, and seeking concrete guarantees for peace and stability, part of the Bosniak policy has taken the bait of the story about Islam and Muslims, which only plays into the hands of those whose goal is the radicalization of relations in the Balkans. It is clear to everyone that Dodik sows hatred and evil daily, provoking a reaction that would turn the tables and present himself and the RS as victims of "Muslim policy".

The message of former wartime commander and federal representative Hamdija Abdić Tigar about readiness to preserve BiH at the cost of life also fit into this folklore of raising national ego. 

Too much blood has been drunk by the Bosnian soil, too many bones of innocent victims have been swallowed, for us to be talking about war again after only 25 years. BiH is not defended only by rifles! Bosniak elites, lost in the vortex of corruption and nepotism, which has dulled their political edge, but also shaken the trust and understanding of "friends" from the international community who believed in their readiness to build a European future for BiH, have failed to grasp this.

Bosniak politics and public have also ridiculed the representations of the RS in the USA and Russia. The readiness of neighbors and European right-wingers to openly support Dodik in his secessionist campaign "peacefully" has been underestimated. Concrete results have become visible: China and Russia are challenging the High Representative in BiH, Hungary is promising 100 million euros in aid to the RS. Objectively, this is more than the dates that Bosniak diplomacy has secured from the East, from which help and support are expected.

The dates have arrived, they have been distributed, but life in BiH is not sweet at all; on the contrary, the bitter taste is getting stronger every day. A new conflict would only be a culmination that is increasingly likely in the absence of the necessary diplomatic offensive. 

For now, pro-Bosnian forces are concentrated in Dubai, from where strong political messages from NIP leader Elmedin Konaković have been coming, defending the large entourage of lucky ones whose trip to EXPO was paid for by the KS Government.

From most of them on social networks, we mostly get photos from the beaches, which are still more attractive than the BiH pavilion. In Dubai, BiH showed its strength towards the RS; on the domestic front, things are different; step by step, Dodik is implementing his political agenda, the ultimate goal of which is the collapse of BiH.

A short diplomatic offensive by those who love BiH has yielded initial results, but victory in the political war requires much more than a "blitzkrieg". On the side of those who love BiH are civilizational and democratic values, and the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, for the realization of which, however, a continuous diplomatic offensive is needed, which has been lacking.

Without it, we have reached a point where it is high time to visit and remind the "friends" and get firm guarantees about preventing the disappearance of a European country. It is time to show that there are forces in BiH that want to defeat corruption and crime, that will not practice nepotism. Without this, Dodik will succeed in his intention to create a new de facto situation on the ground. Then, just as now, Mehmedović's brave trip to Doboj and the uproar from Sarajevo and Krajina will not help.

The inability of Bosniak policy to rise above the role of victim is a threat that history will repeat itself.
