Dodik does not stop even after sanctions: We will pass the Law on the HJPC RS in the coming days

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Milorad Dodik, president of the SNSD, announced that the National Assembly of the RS "will in the coming days pass the Law on the HJPC RS and continue to implement the policies we have established and agreed upon". 

He said this at last night's press conference held at the SNSD premises after US sanctions were imposed on him earlier for involvement in corruption and undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Željka Cvijanović, President of the RS, said that everything the SNSD does is "legalistic and that the Constitution allows them to do so".

The conclusions in the NSRS approving the transfer of competencies from the state to the RS entity were adopted at a session on December 10. Earlier, at the end of October, the NSRS adopted the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices of the RS, establishing an entity agency for medicines, although a state agency already exists with its seat in Banja Luka.   

Dodik added that he has already spoken with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, after the sanctions, who told him that Serbia will not join any sanctions, and they will soon meet in Belgrade after Christmas. 

He announced that the SNSD will prepare for a major election victory, that the sanctions will be discussed for "three or four days", and that he remains a member of the BiH Presidency and president of the SNSD.
