
(Patria) - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik will meet today in Minsk with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
After the meeting with Lukashenko, meetings between Dodik and Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and the President of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences are scheduled.
Dodik said that he will discuss bilateral and other cooperation with the President of Belarus, and that his primary interest is his view on the conflict in Ukraine, on which not only the position of Belarus depends, but also the global balance.
The delegation of Republika Srpska, led by Dodik, began an official visit to Belarus yesterday.
On the first day of the visit, Dodik met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Sergei Aleinik and Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Ogorodnikov, and visited the joint-stock company "Holding Company Belkommunmash", which produces transport vehicles, buses and trams.
After the visit to "Holding Company Belkommunmash", Dodik said that RS wants to buy 10 ecological buses for the needs of its cities.
The RS delegation is expected to visit the "Belarus" factory, known for the production of tractors, today.
