Dodik: SDA will consolidate, I will publish the transcript from Bakinci, it is better for the 'trojka' to stick to the agreement

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska and SNSD, Milorad Dodik, stated after today's session of the Main Board that they continue to support the European path, but are not for joining NATO, although they are for cooperation with NATO.

"A BiH built by the will of three peoples and two entities is the only possible one. That is the basis for agreement on any grounds at the BiH level," he said.

Then he spoke again about the visit of US Assistant Secretary James O'Brien.

"I think it is inappropriate for someone to behave like that. I have been in politics for a long time, I think I have been the longest of all politicians, and I do not remember anyone with such functional power dealing with trivial matters like Seka Izetbegović or someone else. Absolutely inappropriate. They are in great trouble. He came to cause trouble. I think he has politically buried the 'trojka' by giving them some importance in politics, while neglecting that none of it will be implemented. What he did yesterday is interference in the internal affairs of the country," he said.

He added that the US cannot lecture anyone in BiH.

"This is our destiny, our right to decide. We will continue to work with partners if they want to and if they are not mired in the enthusiasm that such a patron has appeared to them. And this is mostly directed against the 'trojka'. You have an attack on SDA in FBiH, you have an attack on their leadership, SDA will consolidate, and these others will lull themselves, they haven't done anything anyway. He gave us the motivation to express our political commitment even more strongly."

He said he was accused of not respecting Christian Schmidt's decisions.

"Of course, I will not respect him. If he dares to talk about property, Republika Srpska will make a decision about its status. The Houthi are not living here whom he can bomb. You can, excuse me, master, but we are dealing with politics. We know how to read both Latin and Cyrillic," Dodik said.

Answering a question about the joint statement of the 'trojka' parties on the visit of NATO officials and James O’Brien, Dodik said that if the 'trojka' can decide to go to NATO, let them go to NATO.

"Let the Federation go, we will not. Perhaps that is also a solution. Republika Srpska will not go to NATO. Let them do whatever they want. I am telling you that this is the worst that could have happened to the 'trojka' and that they will collapse politically and be completely devastated in the next elections if they continue like this. Instead of saying that they stand behind the agreement we recently had, in which they, very heatedly, are forcing me to publicly publish the transcript of what was said, I will not, I have not yet decided to do so, but I will. I can no longer tolerate this hypocritical and lying policy. If the agreement we reached, the last agreement, is not respected, we will know what to do. This is the last agreement they had. Will you or will you not?" he said.

He said he appeals to all people in Republika Srpska not to use the term state property.

"All of Sarajevo can line up behind O'Brien and let them whine, moan, howl whatever they want, they will not get what he promised them," Dodik said.
