Dodik: We are now well-trained and can respond appropriately to any humiliation of RS

Milorad Dodik, President of RS, addressed reporters at the National Assembly of RS, where he reiterated that this is the first referendum in RS since Dayton and that it is their legal right, writes Patria.

- There have been many speculations and calls. Those who participated showed maturity. We have positive referendum results, with a very small number voting against. This day will undoubtedly go down in history and many will refer to this day. We believe we had the right to this despite all the prohibitions. The Constitutional Court said that Article 3 of the Law on Holidays should be adapted, but they did not say how. We conducted the referendum and now we know how. The population is not ready to give up January 9th. No one can ignore the decision and will of the people anymore – said Dodik.

He further stated that this is a reaction to previous actions.

- RS has nothing to fear, we are moving forward and continuing to work according to our plan and program. We are now well-trained and can respond appropriately to any humiliation of Republika Srpska. Tomorrow I will continue to work, as it is a normal working day. What Izetbegović says, we have known for a long time, the only thing missing from his speech is that he initiated this story – said Dodik.

The president of the smaller BiH entity once again attacked the BiH Constitutional Court, saying that it is necessary for foreigners to leave it. He also did not spare the High Representative in BiH, stating that the same person has violated and breached the Dayton Peace Agreement on several occasions.

The Constitutional Court is a completely an institution without public control. It is not under societal control. Although its existence is foreseen by the Constitution, the Constitutional Court operates according to laws they have prescribed for themselves – stated Dodik, emphasizing that “Serbs are a politically trained people.”

- We are pursuing serious policies and have clearly and openly stated our approach to BiH – stated Dodik.

Incidentally, Dodik has on several occasions addressed reporters very inappropriately with unsuitable messages, accusing them of engaging in speculation and lies.
