Dodik: We are entering a technical coalition with SDA

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Milorad Dodik, SNSD president, confirmed that a meeting will be held on Wednesday in the BiH Parliament with the presidents of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, and HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, and the topic is the formation of government at the state level. 

Dodik said that SDA is trying to impose that the NATO issue, i.e., the activation of the MAP, should be resolved first. He added that SNSD will not enter into any coalition with SDA, nor will it sign any program document; the goal is only to enter into a technical coalition.

"Brussels expects a swift formation of government without any conditions related to any issue, including the MAP. This has been clearly stated; within the EU, there are five EU member states that are not NATO members," said Dodik, adding that he remains committed to the resolution on military neutrality. 

Dodik stated that he "will not sacrifice the principle of military neutrality for any agreement on forming the government."

"That is my message, and it will be the same tomorrow. If BiH were to join NATO now, it would have to invest twice as much funds from the entities. For this reason, among others, we are not in favor of it," Dodik conveyed.
