Today, the President of RS spoke with the newly appointed German Ambassador to BiH, Christiane Homan, in Banja Luka. During the conversation, Dodik and the Ambassador assessed BiH's progress on the European path positively, and added that RS has made a visible contribution and that reforms should continue to be implemented, writes the Patria News Agency.
They also stated that politicians in BiH should make decisions about its future, while foreigners can try to be a good service.
Dodik informed the German Ambassador that the referendum on the Day of RS will be held on September 25. He said that the referendum is not directed against anyone and that it will pass peacefully and without any destabilization.
- We do not want to impose on anyone to celebrate the Day of the Republic, but we do not want anyone to forbid us from celebrating what we want, said Dodik, thanking Germany for its engagement in implementing reforms.
