The referendum will happen and there are no speculations about it. Only those with ill intentions are trying to speculate. The technical prerequisites for organizing the referendum have been created. The commission is doing its job, municipal commissions have been formed, ballot papers have been printed, everything is prepared, said today Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, about the referendum scheduled for September 25, where citizens are to vote on the Day of Republika Srpska, January 9, reports Patria.

Dodik called on citizens to turn out for the referendum on September 25 and not to believe in "various spectacular lies from certain media outlets that are trying to cause disorganization among our people and our common commitment".

- If we stop this story about imposed solutions, we can probably expect next year that someone will demand that Republika Srpska be abolished, because the story about the Day of the Republic follows the same pattern, so I call on citizens to turn out for the referendum, I also call on Bosniaks to turn out, to show that they are an integral part of Republika Srpska and that in this way we can build a common future and solve many problems - said Dodik.
