Dodik discussed with US Ambassador Nelson

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik spoke today in Sarajevo with US Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson about the current political situation in BiH with the aim of establishing an internal dialogue.

A statement from Dodik's cabinet states that the BiH Presidency member emphasized that Republika Srpska is committed to respecting the Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement, and that this is the path to the successful functioning of BiH.

Dodik reiterated that for the good of BiH, it is necessary to respect its constitutional order, and that any legal violence and imposition of decisions is unacceptable.

- Republika Srpska is not against a BiH that can function as a country of two equal entities and three constituent peoples, and decisions must be made by domestic politicians in open dialogue and consensus - Dodik said.
