Dodik threatens, Višković rallies, and Sarajevo calculates!

While the neighborhood politics of Sarajevo parties self-destruct with debates and struggles for seats and positions in power at almost all levels, socio-political actors in the smaller BiH entity, Republika Srpska, are preparing and openly announcing radical moves to oppose any potential verdict against the entity's president, Milorad Dodik.

And nothing in this story started today. The process against Milorad Dodik is not actually a consequence of the rule of law and agile judiciary. It is more likely that the Prosecutor's Office and the Court, or rather the indictment and the process, are part of a puzzle conceived by Milorad Dodik and a wide array of advisors and partners to shake and defeat the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because, while the state judiciary in the Federation of BiH entity prosecuted based on fabricated indictments, the prosecution of crimes worth billions of KM in RS remained on the margins.

And instead of dealing with Dodik's crimes, the BiH judiciary began to deal with Dodik's opposition to the imposed High Representative Christian Schmidt. The fact that Dodik reported himself for the offense of disrespecting the decisions of a person he does not recognize clearly confirms that it is all a staged event.

Not only the BiH judiciary fell for his game, although, given how many of his cadres are there, it's not far-fetched that they agreed on it together. The Sarajevo public also fell for this game, giving it unprecedented attention, as did the international factor, clearly lost in rosy dreams that a conviction could solve the monster they had been feeding for decades through inaction and impunity.

Due to such developments, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the eve of another March 1st, is under the same threat as it was in 1992, only now the geopolitical circumstances and Sarajevo's delusion of an overseas guardian angel create an excellent premise for the final execution of RS's separatist hegemonic plans.

These circumstances favor Milorad Dodik's policy so much that his top policeman, Siniša Karan, publicly and without a shred of fear announces radical moves that will erase Bosnia and Herzegovina. And thus, he offers the first fact of the powerlessness of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because, while he specifies what he will do, the prominent figures of Sarajevo politics, Zukan Helez (state minister of defense) and Ramo Isak (top federal policeman), assure us that their subordinates are ready to react. But they prove nothing.

At the same time, the Prime Minister of RS is gathering all the mayors and city mayors of RS in an obvious attempt to prepare them for the realization of the plan announced by Karan. Therefore, there is no doubt that Višković will raise combat readiness and issue tasks at today's meeting with the top officials of the middle level of administration in RS in case the leader of RS is convicted. Here we are at the second fact that the smaller entity has more internal statehood than the state. Because, while Višković gathers and dictates tasks, the head of diplomacy, Elmedin Konaković, plays diplomat and cries to weeping Europeans. And the state Prime Minister Borjana Krišto seems to have disappeared into thin air at the moment when the collapse of the state, of which she is the chief operative, is being prepared.

The third fact that proves that Sarajevo politics, which likes to beat its patriotic chest, has neither the intelligence nor the strength for action, is the fact that the RS parliament is ready for a permanent session, while in the FBiH, only party brokers are in permanent session, looking for where to grab a position.

The entire socio-political apparatus of RS will be on full combat alert from today and will await the outcome of the trial, which has been seriously and skillfully staged by the leader of the political space in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik.

“I am ready and waiting for the right moment.” Did the Sarajevo bazaar, branded by USAID, react to this with mockery, claiming that nothing will come of it, that Dodik is a new European man, that it's his bluff for trading, and so on?

The fact that the BiH Prosecutor's Office did not react to the threats for more than 12 hours – and it should have – proves that this is not the case. No one has even been questioned for public threats to peace. This is the first sign that institutions in BiH are not determined and ready to protect the interest of the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and this is precisely Milorad Dodik's goal – the defeat of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And a state that is not ready to react to open threats to its existence, coming from institutions down the line, and which will evidently be unprepared to face the realization of these threats, will find it difficult or almost impossible to defend itself.

It is evident that the budget leeches and pocket patriots in various positions lack the ability to grasp the seriousness of the threats coming from RS, and further lulled and intoxicated by the promise that someone who has never defended anyone will defend us, they do not even want to try to understand.

Therefore, it is high time for those in the patriotic mass who have the right to speak to awaken from their conformist lethargy, because if the patriots are not ready to once again stand in an organized manner to defend our only homeland, the state led by current armchair phantoms will have no chance to see the spring!
