Dodik: The red line has been crossed

SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated after the session of the SNSD Executive Committee that the latest decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH has crossed the red line and that, if the issue of the Constitutional Court of BiH is not resolved, there will be no Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"SNSD supported holding the session in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS) and for party representatives to address it in order to proceed with determining conclusions. It is very important to preserve unity in RS, this is a key issue, a constitutional and political manipulation. The red line has been crossed.

We cannot agree to the platitude that the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH must be respected as long as there are three foreign judges and two former members of SDA. The speculative and manipulative actions of these people have been elevated above the law," said Dodik.

He also had a message for the people.

"This is a political fight, the people have nothing to fear. This might last a little longer, and we are calling for dialogue," Dodik conveyed.

As a member of the Presidency of BiH, he said he invited the ambassadors of the Quint.

"The ambassador of the European Union was also there. They were told that the red line has been crossed, and that it is exclusively an issue of the judges of the Constitutional Court. If it stands for seven days, seven months, that's OK, but if it stands for seven years, then there will probably be no BiH either," he stated.

"Representatives of the Croatian people are also around this issue of the Constitutional Court. It will be interesting to see how someone can negatively react to the request of two constituent peoples," Dodik added.
