Dodik ahead of departure to Hungary stirs controversy: RS is a stable 'state community' today!

The president of the BiH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, begins a two-day visit to Hungary today, where he will attend the celebration of a monastery in Szentendre, and the following day, meetings are scheduled with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán, and the presidents of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.

Before leaving, he stated that RS is today a stable 'state community' of people who are ready to steadfastly fight for the rights of Serbs, secured through the Dayton Agreement, and are not willing to accept the voluntarism of anyone coming from outside.

And it was precisely in Dayton that foreigners helped them, those whom Dodik now most criticizes and does not recognize, not recognizing the decisions of the High Representative and not wanting to admit that they reached RS through genocide!

- Today there is a foreigner - a German, who is trying to behave like an occupier and thinks it is enough that he has the backing of the American administration to impose laws on Serbs, to make judgments, to seize property, to seize Republika Srpska and Serbian identity.

That will not pass and cannot pass, and Republika Srpska is ready to go all the way!

"There are naive people among us who think that, perhaps, one could talk to them. I was among them a long time ago, perhaps twenty years ago, when I believed in the fairness of the Western world. Now I can say that they are completely biased and unfair towards Serbs," Dodik stated in Kozarska Dubica.

"As early as 1998, I saw what their intentions were - they wanted to dismantle and destroy the Dayton Agreement by promoting the spirit of Dayton, and through that, the elimination of Republika Srpska's rights to an army and to everything they have taken, but they have not changed the Constitution.

The Constitution does not recognize the BiH army, SIPA, the Intelligence Service, indirect taxes, the Court and Prosecutor's Office, public television service, or the regulatory agency, and much more," said Dodik.

As can be expected, the issue of state property is most important to Dodik.

"I must say, setting aside my personal problem, that is not something that should concern anyone but me, but I, as the president of RS, must say here that this is just preparation so that one day, if they overthrow Milorad Dodik and his will to defend RS, a law by that same Schmidt will be enacted, by which he stated that rivers, forests, lakes, mines, and everything else are the property of BiH and disempower Republika Srpska, which would have no meaning after that," said Dodik.

And as usual, Dodik sees things completely in reverse. He is waiting for someone else's moves, even though it is clear that he is the one who has made them!

"We will continue to fight. No one should calculate that there is no enthusiasm for fighting here; we have perhaps just learned some lessons from experience. We will wait, we will not make the first move. But we expect moves that some will make," said Dodik.
